Farmer School Beta Gamma Sigma chapter named Honors Chapter

August 2018

The Farmer School chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma has been named an Honors Chapter by the international business honor society’s global headquarters.

“Qualifying for this recognition is indicative of a campus where academic excellence is highly valued and where the faculty officers of the chapter work diligently to enhance Beta Gamma Sigma’s stature on campus,” the organization said.

Among other benefits, the chapter can now make nominations for the group’s Outstanding Chapter Advisor Award, Business Achievement Award, and Entrepreneurial Achievement Award.

This spring, more than 50 Farmer School students were inducted into the honor society, which was created in 1913 to honor and encourage academic achievement in business studies and to foster personal and professional excellence.
